Tenancy Intervention and Welfare Right Service

Expanding the services our Housing Management Team provides ensures our tenant’s needs are being met.

Over the last year the Association has been working partnership with other Associations in Renfrewshire to deliver two new services to our tenant. With our partners from the Federation of Local Associations in Renfrewshire (FLAIR) we have secured funding for the Scottish Government to deliver a Tenancy Intervention Service and a Welfare Rights Service to our tenants.

The Tenancy Intervention Service provides hands on support to our tenants who may be experiencing difficulties in maintaining their tenancy and ensures these tenants are given access to sources of support. The Welfare Right Service provided our tenants with benefit advice and can help with appeals and income maximisation.

We are keen to develop and mainstream these services as part of our core service delivery in the future if possible.
