Payment Advice

Our Payments Team We recognise that some tenants may from time to time face difficulty in paying their rent.

If you are at risk of getting into arrears, contact your Rent Officer as soon as possible for help and advice. Similarly, if you receive Housing Benefit and it stops, or your circumstances change, please let us know as soon as possible.

If you get into arrears, we will agree a realistic repayment scheme with you so that the rent can be cleared.

It is much better to ask for advice from the Association before money problems get out of hand. There are other agencies in Paisley you can speak to for help if you are having difficulties with benefits or debt:

  • Advice Works 887 7632
  • Targeted Advice Project 840 2100
  • Welfare Benefits Advisor, Social Work Dept., 842 4141
  • Citizens Advice 889 2121
