Performance Improvements – Repairs and Maintenance 2007/2008

Delivering high quality and effective property maintenance services are the key to the physical and economic sustainability of our housing stock. We continue to focus our resources on ensuring the best maintenance services are available to our tenants.

Our high maintenance standards ensure that all our properties are kept to an excellent standard and beyond the Scottish Housing Quality Standards where possible.

This year has proved to be another good year for our Repairs and Maintenance Department. Excellent news came when the results of the resident’s satisfaction survey highlighted that 99% of tenants were satisfied with our repairs service. Further to this we exceeded our performance targets and issued 4155 repairs to our approved contractors. The table below details our performance.

Although we are performing extremely well in maintenance we remain committed to continuing to improve our high maintenance standards for customers. We aim to ensure that reactive maintenance is carried out through efficient cost effective and customer focussed means.
