Good Neighbour Union

Launched in September 2004 the Good Neighbour Union (GNU) is a tenant reward scheme designed to reward responsible tenants who meet the conditions of their tenancy agreements.

The GNU was developed by the Association as a way to encourage all our tenants to be better neighbours and support the tenants who already take care of their homes and neighbourhood.

In the past we have focused a lot of time and resources on dealing with difficult tenants who damaged our property, failed to pay their rent or participated in anti social behaviour. This behaviour is upsetting and costly to the Association. We believe that if the majority of our tenants are Good Neighbours the money that we save can be used to provide you with a better service.

To reward all our tenants who are Good Neighbours we have designed a comprehensive benefits package which is exclusively available to all GNU members. This benefits package includes receiving up to 60 pounds of Bonus Bond Vouchers per year, receiving more choice in kitchens and bathroom design features during our planned maintenance programme and receiving priority consideration on requests for extra gates and fencing. Additionally throughout the year the Association runs competitions which are only open to GNU members.
